You may also hear grinding, slipping, or clicking noises, or notice that the motor runs while the turntable stays still.

1. Foot Pedal or Switch Problems
The turntable is usually controlled through the tire changer’s foot pedal assembly.
If the pedal switch, valve, linkage, spring, or internal contacts are worn or damaged, the machine may not receive the correct command to rotate.
A sticking or inconsistent pedal is a common sign that the control assembly should be checked.
2. Motor Problems
The electric motor provides the power needed to rotate the turntable.
A weak, overheating, or failing motor may hum without turning, operate slowly, or stop when the machine is under load.
